Barking Riverside in London is one of the largest brownfield developments in Europe. It covers 443 acres with 1.5 miles of south-facing River Thames frontage. The master plan will deliver 10,800 new homes, a new overground station and commercial, retail and leisure facilities.

Keylon Interiors, as part of the SFS package on Fielders Quarter, installed two OBEX fire-classified sealing systems;

• The OBEX Score’N’Snap Cement Board system, which being cement-based, provided the required rigidity, while the Score’N’Snap cutting feature ensured a rapid, dust-free installation.
• The OBEX Interface Sealing Membrane system was installed, the only fully compliant system where the products are tested as a system and in isolation, in order to determine their genuine fire classification.

We were glad to support their install team by providing on-site installation training, recommending solutions for specific sealing challenges and carrying out quality inspections with QA reports.
